What is Silai Khata?
Silai Khata is tailor shop software for stitching shops in Pakistan. It writes invoices, keeps the whole measurement book against each customer, sends job sheets to your karigars and keeps their accounts — in Urdu and English, on a counter PC and on an Android phone.
How much does Silai Khata cost?
PKR 900 a month for one shop, or PKR 8,100 for a year — three months free. Every plan includes every feature, unlimited invoices and unlimited customers. There is no setup fee and nothing is charged online; you pay by bank transfer, EasyPaisa or JazzCash.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The Android app records the order on the spot and sends it when the connection comes back, so a weak signal or loadshedding never stops you taking an order at the counter.
Is it in Urdu?
Every screen, the printed invoice and the customer’s link are in Urdu or English, switched whenever you like. The measurement fields use the trade words a tailor actually says — tera, ghera, chaak, kaf — not translations of them.
Can my karigar see what the customer paid?
No. A karigar gets a job sheet carrying the garment, the measurements, the stitching and the delivery date, with no price and no customer details on it. The link is signed, so he cannot reach the priced invoice by editing the address.
How long does it take to start?
Most shops are running the same day. Start from today’s orders rather than typing in old records — existing customers get entered in two minutes each, the next time they walk in.
Whose data is it?
Yours. Your customers, measurements and invoices belong to your shop, they are backed up off your counter, and you can have them out if you ever stop.
Which garments does it cover?
Eight: shalwar kameez, shirt, trouser, kurta pajama, coat, waistcoat, sherwani and ladies’ suit. Each shows only its own boxes, so you never scroll past a shalwar to reach a coat.
